Calculating Shipping Costs
We charge a
single flat fee for each shipment, plus additional, smaller fees for each item
in that shipment. The total shipping charge will be displayed on the last page
of the order form, before you submit your order. Here is the equation we use to
calculate the total shipping cost:

For
example, if you choose standard shipping for an order that contains a video
game console and a video game, you will be charged the higher Per-Shipment Cost
for the video game console and the Per-Item Cost of each item: 7.49 + .99 + .99
= $9.47 total shipping cost. Note: Per-Item Costs for some products are a flat
rate per unit while for others the Per-Item Cost is based on the product's
weight.
Shipping
and handling charges are based on the delivery option you choose and the
weight, size and dimensions of your items. You'll see the shipping cost listed
on the "Place Order" page during checkout.
When To Expect Your Order
Our
estimated delivery date for your order is based on your shipping address, and
the shipping speed and options you choose.

Standard Shipping Deliveries may take longer--up to 21 days for APO, FPO, or
DPO addresses.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
We use a
variety of carriers for each shipping option, and will choose the most
appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address. Most items may
be shipped to P.O. boxes. It is not possible to specify a preferred carrier
when placing your order. When you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may
use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the
promised time frame.

Items can be shipped to several international regions, but cannot be shipped
to Africa, Island Nations, Israel, Latin America, or the Middle East..
Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the
country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the
buyer’s responsibility.

The following items can be shipped to almost all destinations outside the
U.S.:

Limitations
For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer
warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available;
product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination
country languages; the products (and accompanying materials) may not be
designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and
labeling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country
voltage and other electrical standards (requiring use of an adapter or
converter if appropriate). You are responsible for assuring that the product

Privacy
Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how
information about your order is used and shared. We would like our

aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by

as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be
communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate
customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift," but the cost
of the item is still stated on the customs form.
Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly
on the package.
Returns & Replacements
The above terms (including, if applicable, terms related to the Import Fee
Deposit) also apply to the shipment of any replacement product that might be
shipped if there is a problem with the original shipment. If you return a
product to us, you will be the exporter from the destination country. Title and
risk of loss transfer to us upon receipt at our fulfillment centers. For

Customs, Duties, and Taxes
You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported
to the destination country. When ordering, the recipient is the importer of
record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination
country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may
be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination
country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such
import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches
your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the
recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they
may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact
your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance
procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery
estimates.
Purchases of Kindle may be subject to these import taxes, custom duties and
fees. These fees can vary widely from country to country. Please contact your

Global Program
Import Fees Deposit
The Global Program offers customers a unique service: duty and tax
estimation during checkout and customs clearance on your behalf for certain
eligible countries. When products are shipped to the eligible countries using
eligible ship options included in the Global Program, an Import Fees Deposit
will be estimated and collected for the shipment. With your authorization, such
funds will be used by the carrier or another agent to pay the Import Fees on
behalf of you (or the recipient's behalf) to the appropriate authorities of the
destination country (See detail below).
Which products does the Import Fees Deposit apply to?
Items sent to eligible countries via Priority International Shipping and in
certain cases via Standard or Expedited International Shipping will have an
estimated Import Fees Deposit applied to the order. The payment of import fees
is the responsibility of the importer and is levied based on the laws of the
country into which the products are being shipped.
What if the actual Import Fees are less than the Import Fees
Deposit I was charged?
If the actual Import Fees (paid by carrier on behalf of the recipient to the
customs and tax authorities of the destination country) are less than the
Import Fees Deposit collected by us on your behalf, you will automatically be
refunded the difference to the payment method you used for the order. You will
receive a notification e-mail to confirm the amount of the refund. The process
may take 4 to 8 weeks.
How do you estimate the amount of the Import Fees Deposit?
The Global Program uses third-party software to determine the estimated
duties, taxes, and fees associated with each item in the order for the
destination country selected during the checkout process.
How can the estimated Import Fees Deposit differ from the actual
import duties and fees payable?
The Import Fees Deposit is an estimation of the taxes and duties that may
apply and is not an actual calculation of the taxes and duties. In addition,
customs regulations and tax rates applicable to certain goods may change
between the date the taxes and duties were estimated and the applicable taxes
and duties on the date of entry. Also, classification of goods in various
countries and regions may be different.

When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may
be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond
original delivery estimates.
How are shipping and delivery dates
calculated?
You'll see an estimated shipping or delivery date for each shipment on the
order form, just before you place your order. An estimated delivery date (or
date range) will also appear in Your Account once you've placed your order.
Our estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including the
destination address, the shipping options you've chosen, and how quickly we can
obtain and assemble items for shipment (the availability time listed on a
product's detail page). Also, orders for multiple items or multiple copies of a
single item can take longer to assemble before we're able to ship them to you.
We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and
adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your
destination address, based on the shipping speed you've chosen.

For example, if you order an item that is listed as "Usually ships in
2-3 days" and select standard U.S. shipping (which typically takes 3-5
business days), you can use the chart above to determine that your order should
arrive 5-8 business days after you place it.
International customers: When orders shipped internationally reach
the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures
which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.
What if I want to get my items faster?
You can select a different shipping speed by clicking the radio button next
to that option on the order form. Note that changing your shipping speed to a
faster method will not change the estimated shipping date, but your estimated
delivery date should improve (subject to item availability). If you want
to change your shipping speed after placing the order, visit Your Account at
Amazon.com.
If I request One-Day Shipping, will I get my order the next day?
Not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately, so
selecting One-Day or Two-Day Shipping does not necessarily mean your order will
arrive in one or two days. There is no weekend pickup or delivery for One-Day
Shipping. Also, when you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or
ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time
frame.
What if the estimated delivery date has passed and I still don't have my
order?
Contact us at your convenience by visiting our website at http://www.TheMarineElectronicsStore.com
and click on the Contact Us tab in the menu.
Orders that are fulfilled and shipped via a trackable method (such as UPS)
will have tracking information available in Your Account at Amazon.com. Please
check this information if available and read through the following options:

tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please
check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally
left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere
relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
- If the
tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if
the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
- If there
is no tracking information, or you cannot locate the package and it is not
being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail

restrictions prevent us from shipping certain products to all geographical locations.
In addition, some items too big to ship to a P.O. box must be shipped to a
street address. You'll be notified while placing your order if we're unable to

Alaska and Hawaii
Addresses
Most items can be shipped to Alaska
and Hawaii addresses, except:
- grocery items
- gourmet food items
Additionally, some items from our
Tools & Hardware and Outdoor Living stores can't be shipped to Alaska or
Hawaii if they are extremely heavy, oddly-shaped, or considered hazardous.

APO, FPO, and DPO
Addresses
Most items can be shipped to APO,
FPO, and DPO addresses, except:

Additionally, some apparel, baby,
camera and photo, electronics, health and personal care, housewares, jewelry, software,
sports, and tools and hardware items cannot be shipped to APO, FPO, or DPO

U.S.
Protectorates (including Puerto Rico)
Only the following items can
be shipped to U.S. Protectorates:
- baby items
- books
- DVDs
- music
- software

Prisons
The Marine Electronics Store
delivers to penitentiaries, but we strongly suggest you contact the prison
first to confirm that they accept deliveries and to note any special regulations
the prison might have. Some prisons don't allow delivery of hardcover books.
Others place a limit on the number of items contained in a package.
We're unable to affix any special
labels or instructions to the packages and on the outside will indicate only
the destination address, our company name, and our return address. We also
cannot allow gifts to be sent anonymously to inmates; the sender's billing
address will appear on the order invoice.
Because inmates cannot sign for
deliveries, packages must be sent via U.S. Mail. While we often send packages
via U.S. Mail, we also use UPS and FedEx. There is no way for customers to
request a specific shipper. To avoid delivery problems, you might consider
having the items shipped to you and then shipping them to the penitentiary via
U.S. Mail.
